3D Journeys offers you four free lectures to enrich and inspire. Focused on Central Europe, each Monday morning session will feature a member of LaGrange College’s distinguished faculty:

Preview of the 2017 Lecture Series and Travel
“Jewels of Central Europe” (Budapest, Bratislava, Salzburg, Vienna, and Prague) 

Jan. 22     
“Oh, East is East and West is West, and Today They Shall Meet”
Dr. John Tures, Professor of Political Science at LaGrange College

Feb. 26
“Art in Vienna”
Dr. Dottie Joiner, Lovick P. Corn Professor of Art History at LaGrange College

March 26     
“Family Stories from Behind the Iron Curtain”
Lou Dekmar, LaGrange chief of police, and Dr. Robert Friedmann, professor emeritus of criminal justice at Georgia State University

April 23
“Musical gems premiered in Budapest, Salzburg, Bratislava, Vienna, and Prague”
Dr. Beth Everett, Director of Choral Activities at LaGrange College

Beginning at 10:00 a.m. (and ending at 11:15), the lectures will be held in the Dickson Assembly Room of Turner Hall.  Coffee ready at 9:30 a.m.  Park in the lot located behind Sunny Gables Alumni House;  910 Broad Street; a shuttle beginning at 9:30 a.m. will take you to the door.

A Dutch-treat lunch will be available in the Pitts Dining Hall following each session.
